The Prayer of Samson

Then Samson prayed to the Lord, ‘O Sovereign Lord, remember me. O God, please strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes. Samson said ‘let me die with the Philistines!’ (Judges 16:28,30 NIV)
Samson’s prayer is about God’s grace, forgiveness and power. Samson prayed for the impossible and God answered his prayer. In order to understand his prayer, an examination of his life in Judges 13–16 is needed. The prayer of Samson is extremely relevant to us today. After you finish reading the book, convert your birthday to the corresponding time of day. For example, if your birthday is April 13, then every day at 4:13, pray Lord remember me and see what God does in your life!
